Are Vinyl Windows Better? 2017-02-26T00:45:27+00:00

Why Choose Vinyl Windows?

The majority of replacement windows purchased in the US are vinyl, and for good reason.

If you are shopping for new windows, you’ve probably seen a lot of vinyl windows being advertised.  Why are they so popular, and how are they better than other window materials like wood or aluminum?

  1. Insulation Factor.   Vinyl is a great insulator, it doesn’t allow outside or inside temperatures escape.  Couple that, with an advanced glass package, and you’ve got a very energy efficient window solution.  Wood is also a very good insulator, but steel or aluminum windows are not.
  2. Durability.  Vinyl windows stand up very well to harsh weather conditions year after year, and won’t deteriorate like wood eventually will.
  3. Low Maintenance.  Vinyl windows are easy to clean, operate, and never require painting.  With an occasional wash, they’ll look like new for years.
  4. Value.   Vinyl windows are affordable, and increase value of your home.
